The last days of April I went on a workshop with the swedish landscape photographer Hans Strand arranged by better-moments.com. The workshop was held at Söderåsen national park and aimed to be timed to meet the burst of spring in the beech forest on the ravine at Skäralid. We were perhaps two to three days early to catch the most fragrant spring leave colors, but given that the workshop was planned months ahead timing was really good. I learnt a lot about composition, especally to find structure in chaos, and how to use light and colors of nature. All of which I will continue to practice to further develop my photographic skills. Here are a selection of my photos from Söderåsen. The photos from the afternoon that we spent at Kullen you can find in another post.
